Okay, so as I posted on my facebook, but to no avail (well...sold two things but that's it).  I'm getting rid of my manga.  The process of eliminating material possessions so that when I move at the beginning of August, I don't have a place that resembles a hoarders' home is quite fun.  Besides not wanting to lug all of this stuff around when moving, I haven't read these manga since high school.  Might not seem that far away, but really I did graduate seven years ago :p Anyway! Lately it seems that if I want to become noticed by other artists and get some kind of constructive criticism on my works, I have to do some kind of anime or video game related pieces.  That makes me sad.  Sad that great work gets overlooked because fans of a particular show are flooding the "airways."  Not just my works, but others as well.  Original pieces, things that take your breath away or even just people looking to get those tips to improve. I'm not saying that fan art isn't art.  Merely that DA seems to be flooded with it, causing artists seeking helpful hints are just being pushed to the wayside because they aren't doing what all t

It's taken me quite some time to get to this point. That point being where I'm finally able to earn money from my photography.  I know I could do that here, but I never felt comfortable doing so for some reason. I can't pinpoint the reason why, just that it was a feeling.  It's been like that for several sites that have crossed my path.  Finally I've found one I'm comfortable with!
